La Gomera was a complete surprise to KE's PR & Brand Marketing Manager Tav Kelly, when she travelled on La Gomera - Jewel of the Canaries  8-day walking holiday.  Having been to both Lanzarote and Tenerife before, she hadn't expected the sheer diversity that this Canary Island had to offer. 

From the prehistoric forest in the Garajonay National Park, with its twisted laurels covered with light mist, to the sunny barrancos and impressive valleys around the Valle Gran Rey. One minute she found herself walking along a coastal ridge with spectacular views, and the next, walking through volcanic red landscapes that felt like a scene from of a wild west movie.
