1. It's brimming with amazing walking routes

2. It's great for all seasons

You can cycle from Victoria Falls to Cape Town in Spring, enjoy a family adventure with camels on the beach in Summer, see the sunrise in the Namibia Desert in Autumn, and walk in the Sahara desert in Winter. Africa is an all-year adventure destination.

3. It's the best place in the world for a safari

4. It has some BIG Mountains

The most well-known mountain to climb in Africa is Kilimanjaro, which sits at 5895m.  It's one of the World's Seven Summits, and probably the easiest and undemanding to climb of them all. But there is also the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, home to Mount Toubkal (4167m), Ouanoukrim (4088m) and Mount Mgoun (4071m). You can climb all three on our High Atlas Trekking holiday. 

5. Don't forget about its Islands

Just off the African coast are some beautiful islands, brimming with unique wildlife and spectacular scenery. Check out Madagascar, where you can see lemurs and relax by the Indian ocean, or the Reunion Island, where you can walk among volcanoes and overnight in mountain refuges. Lastly, Cape Verde, is a perfect winter sunshine destination, with a wonderful climate and lush scenery.
