Try cross-country skiing

If you’ve never tried cross-country skiing before (sometimes abbreviated to XC) then it’s certainly worth trying our Italian short break in the Aosta Valley. We run different departures for different abilities, from complete beginner to improvers. It’s fully instructed and has a maximum group size of just 8.

Ski touring holidays

For us, this term encompasses our Nordic Skiing holidays; skiing holidays away from the downhill pistes and outside of the ploughed tracks of cross-country skiing. Whilst still using narrow skis with only the toe part of the boot attached, you’ll be traversing an undulating route which hasn’t been artificially smoothed out. Multi-active snow holidays

Offering a true taste of all things winter, these adventures help you learn winter skills such as igloo building, fire building, ice-fishing and of course, all the fun things that snow enables; husky dog sledding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.
