Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek

As far as long distance treks go, the Everest Base Camp trek has it all. A challenging route, deep into the remote Himalayas with a real sense of purpose and achievement.

There are several trekking routes to Everest Base Camp. Each one witht heir own character and draw. From the classic trail straight to the Khumbu glacier up to treks through the Gokyo valley and over the three passes.

Highlights:

  • Scenic Flight: The journey starts with an exciting flight into Lukla, one of the world's most famous airports.

  • Namche Bazaar: A vibrant Sherpa town and the gateway to the high Himalayas.

  • Tengboche Monastery: A spiritual stop with views of Everest, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

  • Kala Patthar: At 5,545 meters, it offers the best view of Everest without climbing gear.
