If you’re wondering what it was like to trek in Nepal 30 years ago then this trek is for you. It’s a superb journey from Kangchenjunga to Makalu, following part of the Great Himalaya Trail (GHT) and crossing several high and remote passes. Throughout the trek there is a tremendous variety of spectacular scenery that is home to an amazing variety of birds, the endangered red panda and the snow leopard. Very few trekkers visit this area and it is one of the few treks where you still camp and get enjoy the remote Himalaya.

9 - Italian Summit Climber

Do you want to add more climbing into your high level trekking holiday? Then you can pack in up to seven peaks in one week on the Italian Summit Climber. You’ll get to stay in mountain huts for most of the holiday, including an overnight stay in the highest refuge in the Alps – the Margarita hut (4554m). This trek is designed for experienced trekkers with a good head for altitude as the huts are high but the peaks are even higher. It’s filled with challenging ascents and some of the best alpine views on the Italian side of Monta Rosa.
